About
I’m Nate Arnold, a wildlife and bird photographer based in Naples, Florida.
My work is rooted in the wild places of Florida — the mangrove edges, tidal flats, and freshwater marshes where wading birds hunt at first light. I’m usually out before sunrise, chasing the golden hour with a long lens and wet feet.
I shoot primarily along the Gulf Coast at places like Ding Darling, Corkscrew Swamp, Clam Pass, and the Ten-thousand Islands, with occasional trips further afield wherever birds take me. Every photo in this collection is a moment I witnessed in the field.
My image of a Reddish Egret was recognized with an Honorable Mention in the Audubon Photography Awards — one of the most prestigious wildlife photography competitions in North America.
